Animal and human sacrifice in the Bible has always bothered me. It's one reason I'm not part of a particular religious domination, although I believe in a higher power or energy. I think most religion is about mind control, power, and profit. I'm sure there are exceptions. But I think it's time to revisit conventional interpretations and explore alternative perspectives on morality and spirituality.
