I agree that core training is more than just crunches and planks, which can be repetitive and boring. I think it is important to challenge the spine in different ways, such as bending, twisting, extending, and stabilizing. This helps improve mobility, strength, and coordination of the spine, as well as prevent injuries and pain.
I also like the idea of fostering patterns that teach the spine to move in harmony and be strong as independent segments. This helps create a more balanced and resilient core, which supports posture, movement, and health.
I personally enjoy doing exercises that involve the whole body and the spine, such as yoga, pilates, or kettlebell swings, but your exercise suggestions are awesome! I'll add them to my routine. :-)
