I've been feeling a bit disillusioned about humanity lately too, mostly due to the atrocities of the war. I love the way you talked to the homeless man! You listened to his story and I'm sure that meant everything to him. We're all the same at a deeper level and when we learn to stop judging people based on their appearances (I've been there too), it's liberating.Wonderful reminder that only kindness matters. :-)
