My mother is a retired principal too and she loved it! She started as a high school math teacher, became an assistant principal, and then principal. She loved the teachers but her real passion was helping the students succeed.

About 15 years ago, they tried to pull her out of retirement to take on the job of superintendent, but she drew the line on that one! It sounds like you changed a lot of lives for the better and have many happy memories to look back on. :-)
