Oh, I had to laugh when you mentioned parking at an old school diner and eating everything on the menu. lol. I think the worst think we can, when trying to conquer cravings, is go cold turkey.

Gradually cutting back on the vinegar crisps, eating a few less every time, sounds like a more realistic and manageable way to tackle those cravings.

Believe it or not, I used to LOVE sugary desserts and ate quite a few of them. I gradually cut back and reduced my sugar intake slowly, a packet less sugar in my coffee and tea each week.

Over weeks I reached a point that I wanted nothing with sugar. Desserts tasted WAY too sweet. And Iappreciated the natural sugars in fruit instead.

Our brains and tastebuds really can adapt if we give them time. :-)
