Yes, the Japanese diet is high in carbs, but I imagine they eat fewer ultra-processed carbs and added sugar. I'm sure that's changing though? They may also benefit from the omega-3s in the fish they eat. Their higher activity level may also play a role in their longevity. Will check out your article now .:-)
