Yes, the tannins, bitter compounds in coffee, reduce calcium absorption. Also, zinc and iron absorption. It's not enough to have a big impact on your health though. (Unless you drink LOTS of coffee) On the other hand, if you take a mineral supplement, I wouldn't take it with coffee. Thank you for reading, TzeLin!
